<p>The scanning electron microstructure, micro-hardness and conventional corrosion behavior of Electroless Nickel-Phosphorus (E-Ni-P) alloy plating on commercial aluminum substrate in an acidic bath with sodium hypo-phosphite as reducing agent were investigated. Firstly, the scanning electron microscope (SEM) was performed over the coating, the obtained structure resembled as nodular structure. Secondly, Knoop hardness test on coating implies that micro-hardness of nickel–phosphorus coating decrease as bath loading increases. Lastly, corrosion resistant of the nickel-phosphorus coating was evaluated by conventional weight loss method which indicated that the Electroless nickel-phosphorus plating improve the corrosion resistant of commercial aluminum alloy.</p>
